Nursery Nurse

Staff Match is recruiting on behalf of a lovely nursery  in Finchley, London If you are a level 3 qualified caring Nursery Nurse who and has a genuine passion for working with children then call us now.

Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualificationn or equivalent 

Experience of supporting and caring for children under 5 years of age

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:

• Key worker responsibilities, monitoring children’s development, planning next steps 
• Working with EYFS curriculum and promoting equal opportunity
• Setting up activities both indoors and outdoors and supervising children  
• Completing children development records, risk assessments, accident, incident, medication forms
• Building positive relationships with parents and other childcare professionals
• Working to nursery to policy and procedures
• Attending staff meetings, training, parent’s evenings and open days as required
• Working 40 hours per week shifts
