Do you enjoy working with children and managing a small team? If were recruiting on behalf of a super nursery based in East Ham and have an exciting opportunity for a highly energetic, dedicated Room leader who is committed to making a difference in the early years sector.
Person Specification:
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification
Experience of working in a nursery setting
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Some of the responsibilities for the Room leader will include:- Working with under 5’s and directing room-based staff
- Working with EYFS Curriculum ensuring activities are age appropriate
- Managing children’s observations and completing learning journals
- Working in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups
- Working to nursery Policy and Procedures
- Ensuring all nursery documentation is accurately completed
- Partaking in open days, staff meetings and training as required
- Working 40 hours per week
