Based in West Hampstead, London our client is looking for a energetic level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse.
Person Specification:
NVQ Childcare qualification at level 3 or above
Experience of working in an early years setting
Knowledge EYFS statutory framework
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Some of the responsibilities of Nursery nurse will include:- Adhering to the nursery policy and procedures.
- Working with the Early Years Foundation Stage and planning age appropriate activities.
- Key worker responsibilities, keeping of development records and observations.
- Accurately completing nursery documentation this includes children's development records, accident, medication and risk assessment forms.
- Supporting children at meal times and with personal care.
- Participating in parent evenings, and children’s outings.
- Attendance of staff meetings as arranged by the Nursery Manager.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
