Are you a compassionate and dedicated Nurse (RGN) looking for a rewarding career opportunity? Do you have the passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly? If so, we have a super opportunity for a (Night) Nurse to join a well-established Nursing Home in Kent, South East London.
Person Specification:
Qualified Nurse with valid NMC Pin Number
Experience of working with mental, physical and social care needs
Be compassionate and passionate about providing person-centred care for the residents
Some of the Night Nurse responsibilities will include:- Be responsible for supervising the care of residents - developing, implementing and regularly reviewing individual care plans.
- Work as part of a team alongside colleagues to deliver best practice at all times.
- Ensure a person-centred approach to care, maximising the independence, individuality and choice of individual residents.
- Assess the needs of individual residents and identify any issues or problems, referring them to the General Practitioner or other multi-disciplinary team.
- Promote an environment that encourages learning and continual professional development as part of enhancing clinical nursing skills.
- Assist with the assessment of referrals both in hospital and at the home, playing an active role in welcoming new residents to their new home.
- Maintain personal clinical development, practicing in accordance with NMC guidelines and directives.
- Assist in the effective leadership of staff.
