Nursery Nurse

Have you always wanted to work with children in a nursery setting? If so Staff Match are recruiting an unqualified Nursery nurse to join a fabulous nursery in Finchley, North London. If you are looking to start your career in early years and would like to gain a recognized childcare qualification, we want to hear from you!

Person Specification:

Must be prepared to undertake a level 2 or level 3 Childcare qualification

Experience of working with children

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:

• Key worker responsibilities and ensure children’s development records are maintained
• To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
• To work with EYFS curriculum planning age appropriate activities  
• To work in partnership with parents building positive relationships
• Promote equal opportunity
• To ensure safe stimulating environment for children
• To attend monthly staff meetings, open days and further training as required
